Where there is the least amount of "gun control", there is much less crime and murder. This is because the criminal element tend to "respect" you more when you have a gun rack in the back of your pickup or may well be carrying on your person.

Gun friendly states like Texas, Alabama and Arizona are very safe (not to mention polite).

Compare this to the carnage going on in places like Chicago, Detroit and Baltimore, where "gun control" is most strict. This is because the criminal element know that law-abiding people are defenseless.

Detroit doesn't have strict gun control, it's consistent across the State of Michigan (not great but not bad).

Detroit police chief Craig (black/conservative) is very pro 2nd amendment and even supported a "shotguns for seniors" program.
