I have a feeling that bus drivers aren’t allowed to intervene in physical altercations.
But he should be allowed to pull over and call 911.
Then the bus driver should have pulled the bus over to the side of the road and called the police.
Probably true, and he maybe was supporting the animals.
Driving a bus of animals, nasty business, but think about it. . .watching a kid get beat to death or severely injured and you do nothing for fear of being fired?
How can you live with yourself if you allow that sort of beating take place, no matter what “policy” is in place.
Bus driver could have been a hero, but now the world knows him as the craven coward he is.

Probably so but it was far different in 1950 when I first got on a school bus in rural South Carolina. I must have been kidnapped by aliens and taken to another planet at some point, this world does not resemble the one into which I was born five days before D-Day.
