then there must be a lot of people who need to see psychiatrists or psychologists for help and not all they see were themselves messed up before they went to medical school.
True story: woman I knew for several years said “My psychiatrist said she now works from the belief that all her patients are victims of the sexist male dominant society. This is the underlying basis of most mental problems in America.” I stayed on her good side.

Most of them replaced psychoanalysis of their patients for knee-jerk pharmaceutical solutions some time ago. Rx pad psychiatry.
