It’s not gonna work unless we build walls and checkpoints. We are already getting refugees from the socialist paradise of California in my state.

California was once a Conservative state. After all both Reagan and Nixon were successful California state level politicians before becoming President.

That's all over now. Does anyone think we can ever see a conservative leader again in California?

Oregon had a Republican Senator up until 2009, when Gordon Smith lost a challenge. Think about that! People today make fun of Oregon, it's considered to be the Bluest of Blue States, but only a decade ago it had a GOP Senator. And before him Mark Hatfield, another Republican was in the Senate from Oregon for 30 years, so Smith wasn't a fluke, he was the culmination of 40 years or Oregonians electing Republicans to the Senate. From 1969 to 1995 the *other* Senate seat was held by Bob Packwood, also a Republican.

Does anyone think that a Republican can win a State wide race in Oregon anymore? Much less hold both Senate seats for 20 years?

Oregon turned Blue because of massive immigration.

Washington State has had a very similar trajectory.

Slade Gordon was the last Republican senator from Washington, leaving office in 2001. In the 1980s Washington also had two Republican US Senators: Daniel J Evans and Slade Gordon. Since 2000 the Democrats have had a complete lock on both Senate seats in Washington. Like Oregon, demographics has transformed the State, and turned it blue.

In thinking about secession the State by State model fails for many people who have seen their states invaded, infected and diseased by the importation of leftist parasites. It might be OK for hard-Tard states like New Jersey or Massachusetts to become part of the United Socialist States of America in the near future, but States like Oregon and Washington (and even California) are unlikely to see the vast minority of natives, only recently displaced by Leftist invaders (both foreign and domestic) from political power agree to them leaving as Leftist states.

To avoid violent conflict (if that is even possible) these States will need be be broken up into smaller polities.
