Well, that’s not much of an advantage. Illinois has always been Democrat.
In fact, along with most of the states in the Northeast ( except maybe NH ) and the West ( CA, OR and WA ), together with Maryland, I pretty much concede that Trump won’t win Illinois in 2020.
Yes, I know Illinois is a hopeless case...unless Cook County is cut off and made a separate state, or unless Biden is the nominee and Bernie mounts a viable third-party campaign against him (very unlikely even if Biden is the nominee, which itself is not likely).
