Lindsey Graham: I Will Call Adam Schiff to Testify in the Senate
Breitbart - Politics ^ | 11-13-2019 | Joel B. Pollak

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) told Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Wednesday evening that he will call Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) to testify in the Senate if the House impeaches President Donald Trump.

Graham added that he would not allow a trial of President Donald Trump in the Senate based on hearsay evidence alone, and without testimony from the “whistleblower.”

Graham was speaking after the close of the first day of public hearings in the House Intelligence Committee as part of the “impeachment inquiry” authorized by Democrats in a House resolution that passed on party lines October 31.

After the first two witnesses testified, Democrats on the committee voted along party lines to table a motion made by Republicans to call the “whistleblower” — who admitted having no first-hand knowledge — to testify in person.

Graham, as chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and a former impeachment manager during the trial of former President Bill Clinton, would have considerable sway over the procedural rules the Senate would adopt for Trump’s trial if the House impeaches the president.

He declared that he would bar any case against the president based on hearsay alone, suggesting the prospects of a motion to dismiss. “Any resolution setting up a trial in the Senate — I’m going to make sure that hearsay cannot be the basis of an impeachment investigation,” he said.

"Things" may get too hot for Bug-Eyed Schiffty.

There may be new hope for this new Graham (sans McAmnesty influence).

Sadly, I doubt it. Lindsey is like this the final two years of each of his six year Senate terms...the two years preceding election. Once he’s safely re-elected, it’s back to another 4 years of the usual Lindsey.

Don’t forget Joe and Hunter Biden, Nancy Pelosi. This is all a continuation of Crossfire Hurricane, so drag in the guy that told his squeeze, “WE WILL STOP HIM”.

McConnell has already said there would be a trial if Trump is impeached.

You mean now that he has been buried. Like RBG, he had been dead for longer than that.

As long as he’s an asset for Trump’s 2020 re-election. Then we will deal with the old Lindsey later.

I suspect you’ll find that he’ll be easily swayed by colleagues.

He hasn’t done the things he promised he would do day one after winning the Chairmanship of the Judiciary.

He refuses to criticize colleagues like Richard Burr for crazy positions.

Four Senators show up and he folds.

Lindsey Graham: I will investigate the Kavanaugh accusers.

Lindsey Graham: I will investigate Russiagate.

Ya, ya, sure you will.

I guess time will tell. I still picture Graham to be that little, yappy dog acting tough as long as the big bulldog is standing behind him. Now that the old bulldog has been buried, The little yappy dog came to realize who the big dog really is.

Of course, that doesn’t help cover the likelihood that Graham’s fingerprints might be all over that dossier that McNasty was using to try and get rid of Trump.

Remember, the issue with the Senate is they’re cloistered and convinced that Senate Precedent and Senate protocol is more important than anything in earth because they are more important than anything on earth.

Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, Ernst, and Portman will say it’s “unseemly” for the Senate to do such a thing, and Graham will make out he never said it.

Graham has already said he splits with Trump over calling any Biden. Former Senators are off-limits.

When have we heard Linda Graham say this before?

He was going to hold hearings on the FISA corruption but never has.

Lots of talk but no do. We'll see about this promise this time.

I think we really need to pray for Graham.

He has been doing a lot of good things lately, but still shows signs of weakness and slipping back to his old self.
