No because the 25th amendment was discussed by Democrats before Trump was even sworn in. The Democrats floated the same notion against Reagan before he was sworn in.

The Constitution requires that a potential president must be a natural born citizen. The Naturalization Act of 1790 directly defines what that means — born of citizen parents. Nikki Haley was definitely not born of citizen parents.
She knows she was not born of citizen parents, and is therefore ineligible to ever be president, but makes out that she stands ready to rigorously enforce the Constitution, as if no contradiction exists.
And if she were a natural born citizen, she would still be just as repulsive a candidate.
Or perhaps the author of the anonymous author of the piece claiming to be part of an active resistance within the White House.
A plain reading of the 25th Amendment shows that a President will never be removed AGAINST HIS WILL under this process.

I might give Cruz a second look as a presidential candidate (although I hope he’s sitting on the Supreme Court by then) but I’m pretty much done with the Republican Party regulars. In 2024 I know of a minimum of 50 million voters who would agree with me. I want Donald Trump Jr. as my next president. I trust hardly anyone else.

I thought she did a fine job as the ambassador to the UN. She stood up to the usual nonsense. We were all sad to learn of her resignation. And yes, she did tell the President about these two.

I have a hard time understanding why Kelly, Tillerson, or Mattis accepted their positions in the Trump administration. They all knew what Trump wanted and that he was going to shake things up. End wars that had no ending. Address trade and immigration. Address jobs, growth, and minority issue. He said it, he campaigned on it, and like it or not, is working to follow through on it.
Then as soon as they were in their Cabinet offices, they immediately start ignoring and undermining the President and his policies that they all signed on to support. No other President that I know of has had such a hard time getting cabinet level people to actually do their jobs like Trump.
