The FCC should set standards and pull licenses if warranted. The finances of major media should be scrutinized. What money comes in? From where? What money goes out? To whom?
The First Amendment means I can go to a public park, stand on a soap box and pretty much say anything I want. But to be a Major Media outlet, you ought to have some oversight to ensure honesty. The First Amendment was NOT created to allowing lying to the public.

Reasons for his “suicide” - 1) the guards were tired since they had to work overtime and there was no money to pay others who could help on security; 2) the tired guards didn’t do a walk-through for 3 hours even though Epstein had tried “suicide” two weeks earlier; 3) the cameras outside his cell both oddly “malfunctioned” THAT night; 4) prisoners on suicide watch invariably are given prison roommates, he had none; 5) the Federal Bureau of Prisons just didn’t have the money for all this hi-falutin’ security measures. Yet they had the $ to take El Chapo to trial at federal court in Brooklyn every day in a caravan of SUVs for which they daily shut down the Brooklyn Bridge with helicopters hovering overhead. Yet the corrupt FBI had the $ so they can raid the very dangerous Roger Stone’s house at 6 am with dozens of paid federal agents (imagine the overtime), with a boat on the river opposite his house and a helicopter hovering overhead.

I am coming to believe that Soros type organizations are paying all sorts of people even in little towns to publish editorials, etc. in local papers. We are a very conservative voting county and lately the democrats are entering all sorts of false editorials and never admit wrong even when proven. They have fallen for false doctrine and cannot admit it. Power has taken over their souls and are too proud to say they are wrong!

Striking, isn’t it, about the utter lack of curiosity among the “press”? I chalk it up to two things: first, they don’t want to embarrass their friends (remember Lyndon Johnson? After the JFK assassination, the press mantra was the the city of Dallas was full of hate and that killed him; no curiosity as to just how a USDA inspector looking into LBJ’s corrupt subsidy receipts “committed suicide” on his ranch by shooting himself in the back of his head with a shotgun; 24 years later, the verdict of “suicide” was finally changed to an unsolved “murder”. Second, I think the “journalists” are scared stiff of looking into anything that may cause them to suddenly drive off the road to commit suicide.
