I don’t fly. Not because I give a flying fornication about phony carbon footprint BS. I don’t fly simply because flying sucks. The couple of times a year I have to fly for work I grin and bear it. You just have to dedicate an entire day each way. If you’re lucky nothing gets lost or canceled. For personal travel I take my motorcycle, car, or diesel truck - and burn whatever amount of fossil fuels is necessary.

Sucks to be you. I fly for a living and have flown probably 6 million miles globally. Maybe another 500k traveling on vacation globally. The world is an amazing place. Most of the amazement is outside of north America.

Same here, have to fly for business but for personal stuff, unless its off the mainland I drive.
The airport/flying experience is unpleasant.

My current job requires tons of travel but almost none by plane. I drive a company F-150 and pull a large demonstration trailer. I burn lots of fuel and don’t care.
