Not just for letting it happen and probably orchestrating it (with help) but also for the blatant lies about it being due to some obscure YouTube video no one ever heard of. They even went so far as to throw the poor guy in jail over it.
Sometimes a hanging is exactly the right punishment for certain crimes.
