If you haven’t explored what AI can do for your business, here’s the latest research to get you thinking.

Artificial intelligence is having a significant impact on mainstream business and computing after years of being in the hype cycle. Companies such as Amazon and Netflix have saved billions of dollars a year, and AI is expected to boost the global economy by trillions of dollars over the next several years.

Concerns about AI's use remain, however, including security risks and biases it could introduce into hiring and society as a whole as well as bad decisions it might make due to poor underlying data quality.

What does HP do with the billions in saved spending? It certainly isn’t going to pay staff who are facing stagnant wages for years working as “temporary” contract workers at pay grade half of what was industry norm 20 years ago.

So the article pushes the advantages of Artificial Intelligence generated NEWS STORIES !!!!!! at a rate of 2000 per second ! As we lowly humans can generate only 300 per quarter because of the leg work and procedure prior to submitting a piece of work . Ahhhhhh THEN in parentheses it seemed to brag that “NOT ONE WORD OF THIS ARTICLE WAS DONE BY Artificial Intelligence” It also quotes a stat that has always defied logic , A.I. will generate trillions as we will consume more because .....we will have more money because we aren’t working....or just because machines can generate more widgets? Absurd article but! at least we know Hewlett Packard has no dog in the race.

Now I understand that machinery has made our lives far more comfortable in as far as having more free time . I am sure that just as a lot of people can no longer run numbers in their heads because of the use of calculators that this outcome will spill over to other basic decisions made humans . I drive every so often a car that fights me when changing a lane because I didn’t use a turn signal....(Toyota’s infamous accelerating cars beyond manual control ring any bells?) We are talking about soulless silicon generating thought and weaving them into interactions with substandard beings....NEVER give up on manual back-ups in order to meet your needs without a central processing unit needed ....I can see a fat slovenly human doing a search for some task long forgotten with an A.I. notice that states “This task has been deemed to wrought with peril” please contact the administrator in order to obtain such information ......or read a book ! hahahaha

They just laid off 6,000 workers (mostly over 40, 50, or 60).

Doesn’t seem to be working.
