I knew a guy (a friend of my parents) that started off with his brother doing metal working in their garage after WWII. When their Bundt Pan won the Betty Crocker Cake contest (in the 1960’s??) their business took off.

I see that his company (Nordic Ware) now has about 90 employees and revenues of about $74 million.

One has to start somewhere.

Your posted link works fine.

However, when I click the link inside your article, the link to the company website, my security software blocks the connection.

Anyway - do we know how much these jobs pay?

Usually, there are no unions in South Carolina, but big companies still pay good wages relative to the local cost of living.

I always thought steel galvanizing used lots and lots of electricity.

I think I have some Nordic Ware nonstick-coated sheet pans in my kitchen.

“...seeks galvanizing personnel...“

I thought at first they were looking for people with strong opinions who were good at influencing other’s thoughts.
