But that’s a WORLD price and so other countries are affected...

How does that work?

We could have a ton of oil but still pay higher prices if overseas it’s high?

Well I guess US refineries would sell to highest bidder.

The USA Govt. doesn't drill for oil, it buys it like we do from world wide oil companies.

If these companies can get more money overseas they will sell it there.
Oil companies are not charitable outfits and are in the business of making money.-Tom

well, yeah. thats how commodities work. unless you have a refinery in the back room..
