Because of their eclectic mixture of world views, the leftards are the authoritarian statists, who are determined to control every thought, choice, and action of the masses, while they get rich by stealing values from them. But the people have the perfect right to use force to overthrow a tyranny and reestablish natural rights. That means war.
Americans basically want to be left alone and live in peace w and prosper. We want the rule of law followed and enforced equally.

It terrified me when I first heard this back in 2008. It really does expose the tyranny that we are trying to prevent.
Obama was the worst president, ever. Not out of ignorance or stupidity, but malice.
Instead, we hunker down in our homes with our guns and no organization at all to rally around, other than the heartening phenomenon of a Trump rally, where tens of thousands of patriots need not feel alone in their love of America and its enduring values.

I find just the PRESENCE of President Trump to be a heartening thing. I’m amazed that the GOP still can’t grow a spine even with a political Pit Bull in their corner.
The rest of us in flyover land still have American spines, however. The President merely needs to ask and we will show him what we can do.
This really doesn't matter when you look at the big picture. The goal of the left is accomplished with a political divide of the United States which would be the end result of any civil war that might break out. The left has committed so many crimes behind the curtain in Washington DC the past 100 years that having citizens fighting and killing each other serves as an escape hatch. They can't keep the kabuki machine running much longer because they already have stolen the money it takes to keep it operable. With more and more baby boomers retiring and expecting social security checks the system is about to implode. The left NEEDS an END to the current government structure in whatever fashion they can get. They NEED all of us fighting one another as THEY escape the consequences of their crimes.
Just sayin'.

People on the right tend to be much more self-sufficient than people in the left. Part of this self-sufficiency is owning firearms. Leadership on the left understands that they must take over in small increments. They have slowly taken us to levels of nonsense that would not have been tolerated just 20 or 30 years ago even by their own base. But they always want it all, and to get there they need to take away the rights ability to defend ourselves.

These morons are the ones bringing this on.
We have no communication.
We have no command and control.
We have no way to muster or mobilize.
We have no definite war aims.
And were we to actually move to take any real action, we would have our wives, mothers, sisters, and daughters whining and tugging at us from behind saying, “You’re making me uncomfortable. You’re being just like them. Think of the children. After all we have put up with, why is this the hill you need to die on?”
(And be sure no matter what, the NRA would raise more money for itself!)
Once a Civil War gets rolling being uncomfortable will be the least of their problems....Raids,murder,rape, disappearances, suffering, starvation only to name a few. Life will get very cheap...
Yes, they’re identical. And we honestly shouldn’t scoff and say “it can’t happen here.” It’s happening.
I grew up in NYC and was living there when the “student strikes” started at Columbia. It was insane - these were privileged brats attacking students who wanted to go to class and attacking anybody trying to protect them. But since their parents were powerful, they got away with it.
However, it was worse at CCNY, at that time the only public university that ranked with the Ivies. I went there because my family was poor, and while I’d gotten a Regents scholarship which would have enabled me to go to some other school in NY State, various family problems meant that I had to stay in NYC. So I was working and going to City (before Open Admissions) and then all of a sudden...the left descended upon us too.
Some well-off kids went to City because of family nostalgia and the fact that it was free. They would generally stay a year and then transfer to an Ivy. However, by then they’d all gotten involved in SDS and other dilettante lefty politics, since they had the leisure and irresponsibility to do so.
The result was finally that the SDS and other “movements” came to City College, where they spent their time discussing whether they should burn down the on-campus house of the President, preferably with him and his family in it. The other result was that the students who were there for an education got harassed - I was screamed at and spit upon while running a gauntlet of lefty loonies to get to my Classical Latin class, and they would “shut down” the campus every day - and many of us, including me, gave up. Meanwhile, the leftist brats, who were the children of attorneys, ad execs and successful business people, stayed their year and then bailed and went on to destroy a private university somewhere else.
Or just manipulative of the facts to suit their narrative. I guess there’s a lot of wiggle room in a CNN Opinion piece.

The Left is today fighting a Civil War using Lawfare and propaganda, so intently and totally that they leave our side very little room for anything other than a military solution.
So they should chew on that for a bit and see how it tastes to them.
I have seven kids and I’ve taught them more (much more) American history than they ever got in school.
If a civil war gets hot (we’re already in a civil war with the dead soul demon rats and their ghouls like Brennan), some of us should terminate a vast array of media goonery.
