Pastor Jeffress is a well spoken, educated man who picked his words carefully. After all public speaking is his profession. A "Civil War like fracture" is not a civil war. He is describing the profound set of feelings which were caused by the Civil War, and the politics leading up to it, not the war itself. If Pastor Jeffress wanted to say there would be a civil war he would have said so. Nobody that can read or speak English thinks a "fracture" is a synonym for a "war".
The left is just making up fake quotes, and attributing statements to people that they just didn't make.
