Since Graham is not in the House he really doesn't have a say in the matter, does he?

I had the same thought. Graham steadfastly refuses to use his very real power as a US Senate committee chairman to support POTUS. He sure will run his mouth, though.
This is going to get a lot worse. Rush was talking today about the House rules the Dems have changed. The GOP won’t even be able to question impeachment witnesses, apparently. No doubt the Dems have a lot of nasty surprises up their sleeves waiting to spring on the country.
RE: Since Graham is not in the House he really doesn’t have a say in the matter, does he?
People tend to equate the word, impeach with the idea of removal. It’s like equating the word “Google” with search when you can use Bing or Yahoo or DuckDuckGo to search.
I believe in his mind, Graham was referring to removal.
Since Graham is not in the House he really doesn’t have a say in the matter, does he?
If the the rabid Democrats send up impeachment, they have to conduct a hearing. I am sure they would love to waste their time on this fools errand. The Senator who is the Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee is putting the mad Dems on notice.
“Since Graham is not in the House he really doesn’t have a say in the matter, does he?”
He does, but It would have been correct to say that “we are not going to convict the President on hearsay” since the Senate may only able to act on the House impeachment referral.
