All I can say to that is: People do change, and I am giving Sen. Graham 2.0 the benefit of every doubt until proven otherwise.

Many times in my 62 years, I have had to reevaluate not only my opinions on specific issues, but my entire worldview.

For example, I was pretty much a free-market purist until Trump showed me how the USA was being taken to the cleaners with bad international trade deals.

Now, I support protective tariffs as a distasteful but necessary defense against the Chicoms and other foreign scum.

What can I say? When the facts change, I change my mind.

“Since Graham is not in the House he really doesn’t have a say in the matter, does he?”

If the the rabid Democrats send up impeachment, they have to conduct a hearing. I am sure they would love to waste their time on this fools errand. The Senator who is the Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee is putting the mad Dems on notice.

Subpoenaing Biden Jr. and inviting the IC IG to testify before a Senate committee would be putting the Dems on notice. Graham running his mouth does nothing except give the House Dems a green light to impeach POTUS.

He does, but It would have been correct to say that “we are not going to convict the President on hearsay” since the Senate may only able to act on the House impeachment referral.

I think she’s kind of pretty. Would not at all if she adorned my kitchen from time to time.

McCain never went hard right. He would get crossover Democrats every election. The Dems ran a token candidate because they had McCain. We tried to primary him constantly.

I think Lindsey Graham has a role to play and its not about helping President Trump or those that believe as he does,

I dont trust him and never will,

. . . I was pretty much a free-market purist until Trump showed me how the USA was being taken to the cleaners with bad international trade deal.

Yes, that was my opinion as well, having read books like Hazlitt's Economics in One Lesson.

The way I understand it now, national policy must follow the same model as a sound family economic policy.

It makes no sense to work for McDonald's for very long. A person must constantly manage his or her career by gaining high value skills that make the family breadwinner(s) more valuable over time.

Likewise, for a nation to prosper it must be guided to look out for its best economic interests and job skills to create prosperity -- for the long run!

President Trump instinctively understands this as a self-made billionaire and job creator.

So the Mises academics got in only half right.
