As far as China is concerned. The tariffs haven't made a dent. All that malarkey about starving Chinese and famine induced by higher prices on pork is just nonsense. What is going on, however, is a serious slow down in the global economy.
Most of my European clients are holding back on their orders. They are taking a "wait and see". Numerous clients from the EU and NZ have asked me to look outside of China for manufacturing sites. We have and have settled on "pass through" operations in Cambodia and Vietnam if they need to be implemented. LCL and FOB transactions on a small scale will move forward in this way, if need be.
Trumps's NED operations in HK hit a snag when Chinese riot police started to arrest many of the "advisors" training the protestors.
Last I heard. 53 "advisors" were arrested. It's all on video. You do know that HK is completely wired with video and audio in 5G. Right? It's hard to pull some kind of insurgency when the parent government knows everything that you are doing in high definition audio and video. Heck! You can even count the lashes on their eyebrows.
The videos are all over Chinese social media. Even I learned a few things or two. I wasn't aware about "soft conflict" as a technique to provoke. Seems dangerous to me to poke the panda bear. These folk DO NOT PLAY AROUND.
The local citizenry have also taken to removing the protesters posters and cleaning up the streets. They are afraid that the protests will knock the HK's role as a financial center down a notch or two, and they do not want that.
Big news is the 70th anniversary of China. Lots of folk are out having a good time, and chilling with friends and family. Many big banquets, and all sorts of free concerts, and the like. I've been posting all kinds of stuff on my blog. No so much here though.
My blog traffic is picking up quite a bit though. The writings on 5G robots, and the Chinese police state is really popular. Who'd figure?
Lost interest. Too many “ historical antidotes.”
I’m in. Can I share this in other private forums with a link to the your source?
But one of many typographical errors, grammatical mistakes, and more-subtle distortions of meaning pervading the article. Needs a thorough proofreading prior to publication.
Regards,
According to Brietbart the Cartels have started deploying technicals in Mexico within the last year. They are using them to control territory and fight each other and the authorities.
I had written a lengthy reply the last time it was posted and pulled as "blog" so I wont waste all that effort again. There is some good information in the article mostly for those new to the idea but no one around here really should be new to the idea. I and Im sure others though I don't remember who had been commenting already in the Clinton years that the attack on Americas SUVs and other more capable personal vehicles like pick-ups and large passenger vans had nothing to do with the environment and was in its entirety an attack on the 2nd Amendment because one of the few things on earth more dangerous to tyranny than an 8 million man light foot infantry appearing in your midst is an 8 million man motorized infantry appearing where ever it damned well pleases.
The Rat Patrol.
You are Metallicman, then?
Ping
Your Chinese masters must be really pissed at Trump to have pressed you to write this drivel.
The ISIS stuff is a cut and paste job that makes big fictions out of facts-out-of-context, fictions and innuendos.
It is as “authoritative” as a Michael Moore cut and paste job.
One problem with unarmored technicals, is that they are very vulnerable to sniper fire.
They are fine against unarmed civilian populations. They get turned into swiss cheese when people can engage them from behind cover from several hundred yards away.
