For us here in northwestern Indiana, there was a 40 cent jump ($2.49 to $2.89) in the 2 weeks beginning with Hurricane Dorian and the Iranian attack on the Saudi oil fields. The price here for the last 10 days has been steady at $2.79, a 10 cent drop from the “jump high.”
And today, it is down another dime to $2.69.
Time to bring it down to $2.49 - the more acceptable level for gas
OMG $2.69 I would kill for that in CA. right now it is $3.89!!!!!
45 miles south of us, in Lafayette, IN, it is $2.45 at Sam’s Club. Where we use to live in Camp Springs, MD, it is also $2.45 per Gasbuddy.com, but 10 miles north it is a 10 to 20 cents more. Camp Springs is where Andrews AFB is located.
$2.28 to $2.39 in NW Arkansas.
Here 8n SW FL, jumped $.10. Now back where it was.
dropped 40 cents over the last two weeks in this area.
$2.27 @ “Pilot” as I was passing by Paducah, KY, this evening. IL of course was much higher.
That prompted me to look @ Gas Buddy’s map just now — when did they change their map colors? I liked the old colors better, but, the new ones REALLY make CA stick out like a sore thumb!
Just in time for Bikes, Blues and BBQ.
Let’s see, last week gas was $2.59 here, this week $2.45. Yup largest jump ever, not.
just outside of Dallas, TX. 87 was running about $2.19, maybe $2.09 if you got lucky. Jumped up to $2.60ish, but it’s slowly come back down a bit to $2.39 or so.
I thought President Trump was going to prevent that spike by releasing oil/gas? from the strategic reserve.
About $3.75 in San Diego. CA maintains is position as state with the highest gas prices.
In S. MS, it went from $2.09 to $2.25
A few places have dropped a couple cents but it never got unmanageable.
