Republican senator Aiken came back from Washington just to speak before the legislature to defeat a bill that was to make skinny dipping illegal.
He challenged the legislators who had never skinny dipped to raise their hands.
No hand went up, the bill failed.
Vermont has a lot of "swimming holes" in rivers and streams.
