HILLSBORO, Ohio — President Trump is seen in the news as perpetually on the verge of being toppled by the latest scandal of the week. But not here in Hillsboro or places like it.
The latest round of accusations involving Supreme Court Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh led to calls for Kavanaugh’s impeachment in Washington but were largely dismissed here as more flimsy, partisan attacks. Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski’s scornful testimony before Congress brought demands for a contempt citation from some but was mostly cheered here. The saga of Trump, Ukraine and the unknown “whistleblower” leaves people here wondering why former vice president Joe Biden isn’t more scrutinized for boasting about what locals see as similar behavior.
Anyone interested in venturing outside the “Trump in Constant Crisis” universe to observe how others view the president doesn’t need to book a seat on Virgin Galactic or SpaceX for a journey into space. Just spend a few days at an agricultural fair. There are more than 3,000 held annually across the nation.
In rural settings where homes are separated by acres of soybeans and corn rather than blocks of concrete and asphalt, farm duties often confine residents to barnyards and fields through much of the year, except for trips to the grocery store, school events or church. For these residents, events such as the Highland County Fair — held the first week of September on about 100 sprawling acres on the edge of Hillsboro — represent a much-anticipated annual excursion. As one fair official said this year, “The fair is like a social event. Sometimes people don’t see other people they know the whole year, so they come to the fair to see them.”

I've got news, the DemocRATS have lost the coal and natural gas states like Hillary did in her last disastrous campaign. The coal miners in Pennsylvania and West Virginia have heard the DemocRATS attack them a second time; many will become advocates for Trump instead of merely not voting the Hillary like candidates.
And there's more - Union members want the jobs and work Trump is creating and the DemocRATS promise to destroy through the Green New Deal. They want to build the Wall, they want to build the Keystone Pipeline, they want the Automobile industry restored. And the DemocRATS are against all of these.
Then there's minorities. They have noticed how the DemocRATS care more for Illegals than Minorities - that their Health Insurance - hard fought for - is to be TAKEN AWAY AND GIVEN TO THE ILLEGALS. Also, contrary to popular belief - Hispanics WANT THE WALL, they don't want the Illegals taking away their JOBS. And African Americans want MORE JOBS and to be OFF THE DOLE and they know they won't get that with the DemocRATS. Not only that but the Bandaid has been ripped off of BALTIMORE and other cities showing that the DemocRATS have done NOTHING FOR THEM BUT TO USE THEM FOR THEIR OWN PURPOSES.
In short Progressive DemocRAT media is just starting to Raise the Alert. Because all is not well on the DemocRATic Plantations as many slaves HAVE Walked Away and the DemocRATS are just starting to notice.
We get the local TV channels posting the daily ‘Trump is evil’ stories, 9 out of 10 comments on their page hammers the leftist news media. News is screaming in an echo chamber.

Hillsboro Ohio will be just the right place for about 250,000 “refugees” to be “resettled.”
