Well apparently Ric lied for the sake of his career, as my original source has now changed it to 1944 from 1949. 8>)
I went to a concert in Columbia Missouri for this tour. It was actually quite good.
One more thing, someone pointed out
that Shoo-Be-Doo was in the
Suicide bag, soon after this
Ocasek produced that 2 man band.
I saw that group open for Da Brudders
and it was not pretty!!
My sisters old boyfriend was a rock guitarist, and he saw the Cars at the Wallingford, CT Burger King when Just What I Needed was starting yo chart. He said they were full of themselves and nowhere near as good as Gentle Giant. Well, from a sales standpoint, they apparently had some reason ro be full of themselves. His own band never made it, but he is a success running a guitar store.
That was great - thank you.
The dealership must have been nervous about those high heels scratching up the car.
