This why I refuse to take Progressives seriously on an intellectual level. They just don't like guns--they aren't really interested in keeping the public safe.

I read on another thread that Prog Whackadoodles in Minneapolis want to abolish the local police.

Dems dont want to keep the public safe..for them banning guns isn’t about saving lives, its about making it easier to kill those they disagree with..the Holocaust would NOT have happened had the Jews had guns, but Hitler made sure no one had any means of protection

The left hates private gun ownership and for the most part they hate local police. They would love guns in the hands of a national, Gestapo-like political police force.
