MSM being MSM. This author is trying to be persuasive, not predictive. Biden is constantly in the lead. The Author is trying to change that with a persuasive article.
The Democrat field is awful. Ideologically, of course, they are fighting a war against reality. But strictly as campaigners, there people are weak. They will alienate anyone who is not a committed socialist. If Trump doesn’t get a second term, the country will deserve what it gets.

Biden will not be the nominee. If you go to Democratic sites and see what people post, Biden is despised. His recent fundraising with a gas industry millionaire was another fork in Biden. The gaffes are just icing on the cake.
Warren is radical enough but mature enough to have a wider appeal to the hate-filled Democratic base. The youth are being split between Bernie, Beto and Buttplug.
I truly believe that if nobody else jumps in, it will be Warren. She might choose Clinton as her running mate and create the female revenge campaign that is going to kick Trump out.
That would truly energize the base...no matter how much they hate Clinton. Giving Clinton second spot allows the Foundation to restart and keeps Clinton’s evil out of the spotlight.
People vote for top of the ticket, not the running mate.

Totally agree, Biden is BORING, uninspiring, dull, and senile - can't imagine even the DEMe dragging him across the finish line. Bernie is an old kook. the next 3 combined can barely get to 15% - It's Warren/Richardson, or someone similar to give her some foreign policy experience on the ticket.
There are three problems with this:
1) by most polls, Dinobernie is still #2, not ComanChe
2) Dinobernie has the $ and organization
3) Dinobernie’s core followers are loyal
Now, in recent weeks we saw ComanChe actually generate a couple of crowds. One was on a college campus during the day, leading to the possibility that profs all gave extra credit for attending the rally. The other was in Seattle.
No, the fact is Biteme is slipping huge. He has lost half his support in a month. What’s more interesting is that Dinobernie, not ComanChe, is second in almost all polling and sneaking back up on Biteme.
