I’ve wanted to get that book for a while. Is it worth the price?

Another interesting book is Moneyland - The Inside Story of the Crooks and Kleptocrats Who Rule the World, by Oliver Bullough.
He mentions Bretton Woods and how it collapsed, and how difficult it is to trace all the dark money, shell corporations, etc.
It was available at the local library. He (UK journalist) sounds quite liberal, but it’s interesting so far.

Speaking of these people, I get a couple of design magazines featuring high-end homes. Amazingly, seems like the husband is often a “financier,” creating nothing but moving money around quite profitably. People who live in Moneyland and often have a portfolio of estates around the globe.
