I have graphite in my palm since freshman year in high school. Had a pencil in my back pocket, jumped off the bleachers, and impaled my right hand!

Fifth grade: grabbed at a freshly sharpened pencil as it fell, and stabbed about a half-inch of the lead into my lower right palm.

That was 42 years ago, and the mark is still there.
