TLDR...

Less rambling; more concise...

Why are Americans so Angry?

Mostly I think it's because of your blog.

HG, I think you are wrong on this one. He posted the entire article. This was not just some fly by night blob pimp. This is how it SHOULD be done.

Go have a look at his profile page.
He takes shots at me personally.

He's not going to get polite behavior from me no matter what he posts.

Half the Population of this Country welcomes an overbearing Oppressive Government who will vanquish the other half.

They are angry that is hasn’t happened yet, while the other half is angry because it is happening.

I like metallicman’s analogy

“And yes, indeed, they still appear to be carrying out their old functions. Yet in fact, a new kind of government has grown up inside the old structure. It’s insidious. It’s like those parasites hatched in another organism that grow by eating up their host from within, until the adult creature bursts out of the host’s carcass.

This transformation is not an evolution. It’s an usurpation. The parasite that feeds on its host. It only keeps the host alive as long as it can feed. Once it has ate it’s fill and can no longer benefit from the relationship it bursts forth and the host is tossed aside as a discarded carcass. The Government today…”

That just applies to the people who care enough about politics or culture from either side to vote about it. The eligible voters who choose not vote in presidential elections has dwarfed the turnout of either party for 100+ years. The people who care about politics and culture from both the right and left vastly overestimate the number of folks who care as much they do, at least enough to deign to vote about it. The 24 news cycle and social media probably have a lot to do with that overestimation.

Uhhhhhhh, the Constitution was not written or signed in 1776. 1776 was the Declaration of Independence. The Constitution was not written until 1787 during the Philadelphia Convention.

The entire article was posted. Yo have not even the patina of an excuse for your typical snark, you dim-witted muggins.

Make a legitimate, germane comment on the subject of the article, or just admit that you are a pathetic troll.

The early teens of the previous century - the rise of the American brand of communism, Progressivism - produced the 16th, 17th, and 19th Amendments: all designed to establish democracy (mob rule) and redistribution (legal theft) as intrinsic parts of our Federal government. Woodrow Wilson was the natural ally in this movement.

I include the 19th because the leftists never cared about the rights of the individual woman. They only cared about the collective voting bloc of women, which as a group historically vote left of men as a bloc. As an actual majority, not a minority, the womens’ vote has inexorably driven America toward socialism (slow-motion communism).
