Praying that they will find out the real cause of his disease and will provide appropriate treatment and he will recover fully.
Did they test him for Epstein Barr virus? Many times they don’t test for that, but it could be a possibility.
The treatment is Human Immune Globulin (IVIG) administered intravenously, but that should not be a problem in a hospital. There is also SCIG, subcutenous immune globulin, which is easier to administer, and the patient can learn it and do it, after he is released from the hospital.
If possible, have an infectious disease specialist see him. They may be more open and knowledgeable about possibilities.

Jesus, send The Holy Spirit into Michael’s room and guide his healing. Reveal to the medical staff where they should be looking. Give Michael the awareness that he is being prayed for and that all healing is through Jesus Christ.

Dear Father in Heaven, we lift up Michael to you in prayer. We ask that You give wisdom and discernment to the doctors and that you give strength to Michael to fight off this unknown infection. We Pray for complete healing and restoration, in Jesus Holy Name, Amen.
