There is no reason not to confirm a Supreme Court Justice in an election year if both the President and the Senate are under control of the same party. Liberals may not like it but "elections have consequences".

I totally agree with you on that point.

Just thinking of the new Merrick Garland standard being applied.

Still, I wish RBG or Breyer would retire and pave the way for PDJT’s third appointment.

After what Roberts just did on the the Census question regarding citizenship, we still need some reliable Constitutional conservative minds on the highest court.
