Another thing which turned me off on Nikki was her high profile removal of the confederate battle flag from the freaking CONFEDERATE MEMORIAL on the state capital grounds.
This was after another GOP governor had moved it there years AFTER a Democrat governor Fritz Hollings had put it atop the state capital to stick a finger in the eyes of civil rights leaders.
Hello, Nikki, that's where the damn flag belongs. Removing it does absolutely nothing to atone for the sins of some idiot POS with a bowl cut who gunned down nine innocent Black church goers. Playing to the idiot PC crowd only increases the tensions, it does nothing to diminish it.
