Twitter has decided that investigative journalism is in violation of their terms of service - @Project_Veritas has been temporarily suspended from posting for tweeting internal communications from @Pinterest which show them calling @benshapiro a "white supremacist" @JamesOKeefeIII
This is CRAZY. @Twitter is now censoring @Project_Veritas for publishing "internal communications" from @Pinterest in which they call @benshapiro a white supremacist.
Did Twitter apply this so-called privacy standard to Wikileaks? Or HRC's emails? Or Trump's tax documents? NO @Liz_Wheeler
The media routinely publishes corporations' leaked internal communications.
And leaked White House transcripts.
Will CNN, ABC, etc. be banned next, or is this policy only invoked to protect a fellow Tech Monopolist and/or to deplatform a conservative speaker?
There's totally no possible FTC case for coordination between connected market-dominating effective monopolies here. Let's continue being True Conservatives and pretending the Sherman Anti-Trust act is no longer a law (even though it remains on the books).

We ALL should just ‘suspend’ Twitter.
And Trump is still futzing around by saying that Twitter, etc., should stop their bias and censorship.
Realistically, what can he do? He just spent 2.5 years trying to keep himself out of jail, while appeasing the GOPe just in case he needs the Senate Rs not to vote for his impeachment. We are in very serious trouble.
They should have been both broken up for antitrust concentration and held to either publisher or platform standards. All these social media companies are illegally having it both ways: selectively censoring, but then saying they are not liable for what is posted on their sites.
I want exactly that, but given the load of crap Trump has been dealing with (including worrying about protecting his private wealth and staving off impeachment) I excuse his lack of focus on the socials. He’s been crippled by the socialists.
President Trump could appoint James to head an antitrust committee. THAT would make them all go bonkers.
He shouldn’t be focused on preserving his wealth over freedom of speech, censorship, and the grotesque, CIA-led power of these anti-American social media giants.
I sure as hell would be protecting my $billions. I’m frankly shocked he hasn’t walked out the front door of the WH given the apathy of the American public. As we sit on the sofa expecting a White Knight, maybe it’s time for us to get off out a$$ and do something.

Very. I expect there’ll be a day about one year from now when Twitter will shut down Trump’s account to sabotage his campaign. And it WILL hurt. I hope options are being discussed to get his messages out if/when that happens.
Agreed. We are ultimately responsible for this mess. Lexington- I’m busy with work, concord - I’m busy with family. Someone else deal with it. I’m living my life while bitching about what others need to do.
