Bodexpress was so full of joy. It was clear he was having fun, doing what he does. He’s only 3. Hell, he ran around the track one more time before they caught him!

He/she was running with the herd. He/she wanted to a part of the team.

It's just instinctual behavior for any herd animal to run with the pack.

I thought the horse was a champ. No one whipping him to run but he ran and kept up with the best.

They do, almost invariably.

Sure, they can stop but they’re used to it and they often want to run with their type.
