Doug Collins, GA congressman has been outstanding today. He’s not our GA congressman but I’d gladly vote for him.
I heard him on FOX this morning and then on Brian Kilmeade’s radio program later in the morning....He focused mostly on the reason for the courts to end the Holder contempt case on the same day (after 7 years) that Nadler managed to convince his cohorts to vote for contempt against Barr.
He said they were not going to take the chance that a court decision on that case would HARM them before the election and got out in front of any bad news! Gotta hand it to those dems - out ahead of everyone every step of the way, right?
It made a lot of sense to me but I still don’t know what the motive was to go to court and to keep Fast & Furious/Holder’s contempt charge in the courts for 7 years - what was the issue and what would a decision have accomplished?
It was either Andy McCarthy or Dershowitz last week who predicted that any case against Barr would find itself in the courts for as many years as the Fast & Furious one has been.
Sorry but I can’t help it - that picture of Nadler brings to memory a very old joke from years back - “where would one find a casket large enough to bury him?” “You wouldn’t...you’d just give him an enema and bury him in a shoe box.”
