Everybody’s racist. My Neapolitan born grandpa told me Sicilians we’re not nice people. We grew up in a mixed catholic community in The Bronx. We ranked each other out. The only Jew we knew owned a candy store, nice guy. We told outrageous jokes about Irish, Italians, Krauts, poles, Jews, PRs, and blacks. You only got pissed off if you were not sharp enough to give a decent come back. Everyone laughed at the jokes.

I’m sick of this BS.

Right on the mark Vaquero,we must be about the same generation
i grew up among the Mexicans, Utes, and navajos, the Mexicans and
whites got along just when they wanted to, the navajos and Utes
never got along.

Each one demanded respect and there was a lot of fighting, but they
would have all joined to gather to defend the right to be what they
were or to defend this nation.

They were real Americans.
