There really are 2 Americas now. This law would be frightening to denizens of many states.
My son got his concealed carry permit at 18. They did mess with him a little; he had to prove he was a student (or employed) and show his high school diploma. This is apparently a local sheriff’s requirement, not state law as far as I could determine. The sheriff is begging for a lawsuit. This is in Alabama.
