Trip to New York’s DMV Looks Much Like Medicare for All

Stopped at a local bank yesterday to find they had a shiny new ATM. First screen: Press 1 for English.

Just registering a dirt bike in Ca was a nightmare, even when Reagan was in office.

That is an excellent way to explain it to the air heads because everyone besides the elites jump through hoops to get through the DMV.

We know it wouldn't work by looking at their other attempts to line their pockets take over portions of the economy.

1. Obama care- The costs, deductibles and quality of care is out of control. God help a middle class family of 4 if they all get sick. A $5000.00 deductible is what they put on those families when before Obama Care they had very nice overage and could afford getting sick.

2. Medicare - The government run program is a disaster. Fraud is out of control and seems as though no one ever goes over the books to find the fraud, waste and abuse.

3. Medicaid - Is another program ran by the government that fails miserabley. There are patients that wait 6 months or more for a specialty Doctor and it takes sometimes up to a year in line to get a primary Dr.

Government Workers - The worst at doing anything and they have no oversight or consequences.

Three trips, none hours and over 150 miles of driving to get a simple set of license plates for a used car in Maryland.

After a call to my State Senator, I got a call from their head of “customer service” She got a large piece of my mind as I reminded her that her department was fatally broken.

I offered to put her in touch with the former Michigan Secretary of state who made her department a bastion of efficiency. 10 minutes for the same transaction two years before.

I’ve been to my local DMV a number of times in the past five years. On a good day I’m in and out in about 10 minutes. On a busy day it can be 15 minutes. Every transaction has been completed on the first trip.

The drive-thru ATM at my bank has the touch pad and associated keys enhanced with braille!

I had to file some paperwork at a government office. While I was waiting for them to finish I wandered around and perused a bulletin board. There was a paper hanging there among the rest of the stuff, completely in braille. I was at once amused and depressed, probably like you at the ATM!
