As he seems to be now, I support him. (Almost) anyone adhering to orthodox Catholicism would be preferable to the current character.

It often seems like bergolio has not read the Bible at all.

I think that’s funny.... why can they not develop their own resources???
Why can they not develop their own economies??????

Why are they recipients of aid in the first place???????

We created their dependence on us.

We GIVE them free food and local farmers have no market.

We Give them a solar panel to light a 40 watt bulb and declare the village "electrified".

Medical and food aid is dependent on them signing up for birth control and abortion.

The UN PROHIBITS anybody from helping them develop energy resources.

The money goes to the rulers who build palaces while the people go hungry.

Its organized oppression and we crush them any time they try to stand up.

We could air drop the last 20 graduating classes from your University into that environment and they wouldn't stand a chance of breaking through.

BS.
Islam is the most oppressive force. That is why they never developed.
They are muck akin to the black tribalists of Africa~ always pointing the finger outwards, never at the self.

Islam wouldn't have the impact it does if all of the factors I cited weren't true.

But you know it all, so be content in your delusion.

sorry for your opinion.
I have worked and lived amongst tribes.
I have seen the chiefs in action in back woods Africa.

like other crude power structures, the people can not rock the boat else wise the chief gets pissed off and someone gets whacked. no one can have more of anything than the chief... not money, charisma, ideas, women... no one can threaten the chief so development is stifled.

we in America are a product of a gift , the right of self determination/actualization which came through the Christian religion and a philosophical code rooted in the Magna Carta. That is the greatest root of our success, development and achievements. yes, Greek philosophy and Roman law had a hand in our development.... but patent law flowing from the Magna Carta was the foundation leading into the industrial revolution. No one else on the planet did this.
not the Chinese, not the Indians, not the africans, etc etc etc.
it was a specific group of christians.... those of Britain. Not Rome. Not eastern European Christians.

In contrast, Marxists and muslims still operate on the basic communalist code, following their “chiefs”. It is that commonality which allows them to readily merge their forces.

We just witnessed it in BHO.

Yes, there is a huge difference in Christian development.
We can also see the impact of Romes Christian gang on south and central America.

The self actualization is missing.
