Yep, lots of Krag-Jorgensen rifles converted to sporters in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Nothing passed down to me. Of course my 3 boys will get my collection.
I tend to buy classics. An 1882 circa model ‘73. A 1903 Krag fully stocked carbine (Philippine constabulary ). An 1884 trapdoor Springfield. A Marlin 336 in .35 Remington. others.

All lost in that canoe accident.
