I had a chance to acquire one in .300 a few years back for about $150.00 or so if I remember right. I passed on it because it was an oddball caliber. I did get a chance to fire it several times. It was quick, relatively light, and super accurate.
Im kicking myself over it now.

It is a great weapon...but I didn't inherit it, I bought it from another
engineer that I work with at Bell Labs when I first came back to PA...for
$200 I think. The ammo is getting harder to find...I don't bother looking
for it in stores anymore...just order it online from Cabelas. I have since
inherited my Grandfather's .270 and .30-06 but they stay in the safe.
