I can’t go along with diluting the meaning of the word “war.” If as Prager admits there’s no violence — there’s no war. And even if there’s violence...was the Nazi regime prior to Sept 1939 called the German Civil War? Was Turkey’s genocide against the Armenians known as the Turko-Armenian War?
The American left’s opponents are taking it in the rear. That’s not “war.” It’s not even boxcars. Not even close.
And you can not win a war with a strategy based on defense. If you do, the enemy gets to define the parameters of the engagement to their advantage; place, time and method.
A Freeper mentioned a few weeks ago that the Left seems to operate like a "hive mind."
I think this is not only because of what they are hearing from the media, but also because generations of them have been indoctrinated by our colleges and universities (actually going back to just after the end of WWII).
The Left is brainwashed to see life through the commie prism. That is why (I suggest) when the Left started pushing the postmodern ideas of reality being the way you see it and your gender is based on how you feel, etc., those Americans who had been indoctrinated into Leftie thought understood it instinctively.
Embracing moral relativism was easy. It had already been forced into their very beings.
People must realize that there is a difference between Leftists and Liberals. Most Liberals have evolved into the Useful Idiots of the Left.
Good points. Somehow the typical, naïve and ignorant Liberal must be made to realize that they are the Useful Idiots of the Left/Communists. They must realize that they are being used and what they are blindly supporting is detrimental to them.
By de-emphasizing what the Left is doing as "not war," you are giving them a pass.
This is what they are counting on.
A war doesn't become a war when the shooting starts. If that were the case, it would exclude an enemy's efforts to set up infrastructure (intelligence agents, special operators, lines of communications, means of disruption/sabotage, etc.) behind the lines of their target before shooting commences as acts of war.
Has there ever been a civil war while the poorest people are the most likely to be obese and are the most entertained poor people ever? Also, you would think more people would simply deign to vote if things were so bad. The people who choose not to vote have outnumbered the turnout of either political party for 100+ years.

What has been said about the current situation is this:
"Normal" politics is when different parties within a country fight over the way the existing Constitution (or other foundational document) is to be applied.
"Regime" politics is when different parties argue over whether or not the existing Constitution itself is to be replaced or overthrown.
What we are seeing in this country at present is "Regime" politics.
Regime politics is an existential war "within" a country..."civil" war.
The left also seems to have Hollywood Stars turn up at many of their protests - - and magically they have buses pull up filled with people who pick up 'hand-made' signs and props that appear out of no-where... It's a mystery all right...
