"The people of Venezuela are standing for freedom and democracy and the United States of America is standing right by their side"
President Donald J. Trump Speaks In Miami 2/18/2019
Speaking in Miami Monday afternoon President Donald Trump urged the Venezuelan military to stop its support for Nicolas Maduro and come out in support of Interim President Juan Guaido.
Trump noted that Guaido has offered amnesty and also warned that the US knows where the military has any ill gotten gains given to them by Maduro stashed in financial institutions.
The President laid out a vision of democracy for Venezuela that he hoped would spread to other left-wing ruled nations like Nicaragua and Cuba.
He also noted that "all options are on the table" in regard to Venezuela.
Meanwhile, the Virgin Atlantic founder and billionaire Sir Richard Branson is organizing an aid concert for Venezuela this Friday (February 22nd).
The concert is a "Live Aid" type event being held at the Colombian border town of Cucuta with hopes of raising 100 million dollars for humanitarian relief in Venezuela.
Branson is inviting international and regional artists to perform.
He tweeted:
"The humanitarian crisis in Venezuela worsens every day. Join Venezuela Aid Live, support the cause to help the country's suffering people venezuelaaidlive.com"
The event will be livestreamed online.....

What stopped you from posting the whole thing?
You should get a job.
Shame on you.
Ever hear of the ‘Pinkertons’?
Those are female Pokémons, right?
You’ve won this round... - _ -
Something to think about boys.
I know, right??? Who in their right mind would give money to ANYTHING Branson sets up? Just make the deposit directly into Maduros account instead. That’s where it’s gonna end up anyhow
Branson is a #NeverTrumper as I see it but I get the impression that both Branson and Trump are opposing and irritating the Commie Chump Maduro by promoting relief aid.
I agree theyre both Maduro irritants. Thats the good part. The bad part is Trump is offering tangible aid. Branson is wanting cash donations and we all know what happens to cash donated to help socialist countries...

Yeah, uh no.
Why don’t the celebrities each give their own millions? From each according to her ability to each according to his need?
I didn’t get to hear President Trump’s speech in Miami.
So I didn’t know he said this: “He also noted that “all options are on the table” in regard to Venezuela.”
Please President Trump = continue to oppose the Venezuelan dictator and if needed, send in the Marines!
The US doesn’t need to involve itself with this mess.
I haven’t seen word one about all the demonstrations that were supposed to take place yesterday against the “wall.”
Could it be that no one showed up?
Not so Humble Gunner.. GFY
I imagine you and your Buddy Bill have a lot in common. Wink, wink
Given Columbia, the city, is near DC my first thought reading the headline was Trump was talking about the perfumed princes in the pentagram.
