This business of repeating the three letter acronym AOC is politically risky.
What allows a politician so completely lacking in substance to gain such quick name recognition? Usually its a weird name like Obama - but other hooks can be catchy nicknames like Bubba.
Another common hook is the first-name-only thing - like Prince, Maddona or Hillary.
An acronym like JFK can be effective too - and that is what Ocasio-Cortez handlers are counting on - they may also be using it to avoid the Cortez surname which is a likely enough name for a President, but not for a President of the United States.
I think we should boycott this marketing ploy by avoiding the use of the three letter acronym and just calling her Ms Cortez (or Occasional-Cortex).
