No flames - actually, one time I slipped on ice at Monticello in the parking lot and was very uncomfortable for about a year - I think I broke a rib or two like that gay actor in Chicago and his sandwich. And then once some kid dropped a pump coupling on my foot in the reactor cooling pump room. That was painful for another year.

No flame, but we've had over 100 commercial nuclear power plants in the US operating over the past 50 years. Nuclear power now accounts for about 20% of US output. In all those years, not a single person has been seriously harmed by radiation from one of these plants. Not one. The only injuries / deaths are those typical of other power plants, such as steam pipe failures, falls, etc.

If you really believe what you stated, please provide the basis for your belief. My 30+ years of working nuclear power has convinced me that you probably don't know anything about the subject.
