According to the county prosecutor....they are gathering up the social media ‘threats’ and charges will be laid out. The state has a terror-threat law. My take is that a summons will be mailed to literally thousands of these people....most will think of it as a joke. Some will be visited by deputies to arrest them and ship them off to Kentucky. All of this will mean court action, defense attorney to be hired, court costs as part of the guilty plea, and fines. You could be talking about a million dollars a month rolling in for court costs and fines, with local defense attorneys making millions in defense. Biggest possible money-maker in the state....I think....for the next three years.

And that’s just the criminal law side of it. There will be mountains of civil torts for the lawyers to gorge themselves on. Those kids and their families have every right to sue the pants off of these scumbags. They are not public figures, so every media type and anyone else who slandered them can’t hide behind Am. 1 and Sullivan.

The Covington incident is not far removed from the Salem Witch Trials of 300 years ago; mass hysteria whips a mob into an insensate killing rage. It's made worse with the amplification effect of so-called "social media", like Twitter. "Social media" is like providing grenades to a bunch of baboons.
