John Roberts of Fox News is now reporting the cancellation came in an ’emergency call’ from the Pentagon to Pelosi’s office less than one hour before scheduled departure.
Trump denies use of a government plane for Pelosi’s trip to Brussels, Egypt and Afghanistan. Tells her that she can of course fly commercial if she wants.
President Trump on Thursday told House Speaker Nancy Pelosi he was canceling the official government jet for a trip she planned to take to Brussels, Egypt and Afghanistan, saying it would be wrong for her to go while the government is shut down.
“In light of the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay, I am sure you would agree that postponing this public relations event is totally appropriate,” he wrote in a letter to the California Democrat.
He said Mrs. Pelosi could fly commercial instead.

This probably means Nancy will allow articles of impeachment to come to the floor. The Democrats might just have enough votes this time.
I’m pretty confident Trump will be impeached before Ginsburg dies or retires for the SCOTUS. Schumer will than argue Trump can’t pick Ginsburg’s replacement until after the impeachment trial.

Apparently, Nancy felt it was more important for her to visit Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan than to stay home and lead the Democrats’ battle against the wall.

OMG I laughed so hard I think I sprained something.
I sure hope everyone remembers what Trump did when the funding for the wall doesn’t happen. His supporters have left him no choice but to hang out on a ledge for the good of the country. I’m sure there are a lot of conservatives who believe that we will just muddle along if the wall isn’t funded.
