Why is she flying to a foreign affairs meeting in the first place?

I don't recall reading that foreign affairs are any concern of the House; I thought that was restricted to the Senate and the President.

I think she just wants a vacation on the taxpayers' dime.

It says they were going to meet with nato leaders, troops to get updated on intelligence information and to show support for our troops. Stopover in Brussels was for Pilot rest.

Pelosi just wants to exercise some of her brilliant foreign policy capabilities. For example, visiting and shaking Asad's hand while praising him.

Attention foriegn diplomats, be very cautious if Pelosi visits you, shakes your hand and praises your work.
