Exactly!

I’ve long agreed with that sentiment.

On a further note, I find it appalling that GOP candidates and incumbents (every two years) appear before newspapers editorial boards as those boards decide who to endorse for election.

I’m speaking for my local newspaper (the Minneapolis StarTribune - aka The Red Star) specifically. They overwhelmingly endorse Democrats for every position from dogcatcher up to President. Occasionally, they’ll throw in an endorsement of a GOP incumbent in a safe district.

In recent years, several legislators and candidates have refused to appear before their editorial board claiming an strong institutional and political bias against Republicans.

Besides No Comment, it’s high time we took this a step further!

A local newspaper is one thing. If King had done an interview with a Des Moines newspaper I don't think it would be a big deal.

But the NYT is not only a leftist propaganda rag ... it's a New York City and a Beltway newspaper whose staff considers Iowa more foreign than the moon.

I'm going to chalk this up to "Dumb as a Sack of Hammers" on this one.
