Although I follow European (and particularly British) politics more closely than some Americans I certainly won't claim to be an expert.However,what I've been seeing in the last month or so suggests to me that it's distinctly possible that there'll be no Brexit at all...that Europe's Swamp will prevail in the end.What seems *highly* unlikely to me is that Britain will fully escape the tyranny of the Angela Merkels of Europe when all the dust has settled.

There's a great commentator on youtube named Pat Condell who posts many short videos on the Religion of Pieces and European politics.He's a Brit who's intelligent,articulate and fearless.He once posted a video on the European Union in which he said "the European Union is very popular with politicians because it's been very good to politicians".

With that comment he perfectly summed up Britain's dilemma today.

Ho-hum. I prefer Nigel:

NIGEL Farage predicts there will be a “much bigger vote” to leave the EU in the case of a second referendum on Brexit, as voters will want to “teach a lesson” to politicians.
He's got a bit more Churchill than you!
