I have never been able to even LOOK at Carrey. He totally creeps me out. His presence on film always makes me think he’s into something very creepy off screen.

Jim Carrey is Canadian-born—in, 1962, Newmarket, Ontario. My guess is, like most babies, he was born screaming incoherently. But he does not seem to have yet stopped.

I would claim that that is Carrey's entire schtick.

He has a new show on one of the cable networks. But for me, he peaked with Ace Ventura....

He WAS the most talented physical comic since lewis and Maybe Keaton. Certainly the best of his generation. He started getting 20 million picture about 15 years ago after Ace Ventura. The Mask was genius when you couldn’t;t distinguish him from the animation.

But after the got the big bucks he wanted to go serious. Lewis had that same desire as he got older and the style of popular comedy changed.

Carey wanted to be seen as a serious actor. The movies mostly flopped. he became argumentative with a lovely actress who we wall thought was perfect for him to marry. He became depressed and went to therapy and came out of it determined to change the world and speak out for ultra liberal clauses. He’s a crazier version of what DiNero has become. Rabid dogs at the mention of trump.

It will be along time, maybe never, before his movies attract the general public.
