Whatever the MSM says about this, there is rejoicing in my company today. Our company is one of the few that has a high percentage of our (all hi-tech) products which are exported to China. Our owner made the decision several months ago to keep our China prices the same, and eat the tariffs. He did this out of faith that Trump would cut a fair deal with Xi.
To those that whined and sniveled that we were in a "trade war" with China, we were NOT. We were in a negotiated "Deal", that's beginning to look good for all.
True, but tariffs are a weapon, not a goal.
